Earwig and the Witch (Aya to majo)

After six years, the audience met with a new Studio Ghibli movie this year. A new feature for the legendary anime studio draws attention in the story, where a young orphan girl is unaware that she is the child of a witch; 3D! This is Ghibli's first fully CG animated feature film. Goro Miyazaki, whom we know from From Up On Poppy Hill, is directing and his father, legendary director Hayao Miyazaki, is only involved in the planning. The film was one of four animated films included in the official selection of the Cannes Festival in 2020.

Spirit

Dreamworks' Spirit, released June 2021, is a 2D hand-drawn sequel to Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, released in 2002. Netflix revived the series in 2017 with the series "Spirit Riding Free", which ran for 11 seasons.
The movie continues the adventures of 12-year-old Lucky Prescott, who befriends a wild horse named Spirit. Spirit will be cg animated like its series. Dreamworks is reportedly pursuing a lower-cost production model, as with 2017's Captain Underpants (which costs under $40 million).
