Hi, I'm Yalın Şen. I left the Computer Engineering Department of Sabancı University in the third year and went to a course for my dream profession, cullinary. Then I worked as a cook for a long time. My hand was injured as a result of an unfortunate accident and I had to leave the profession. After that I started working as a Social Media Specialist and Graphic Designer in a Digital Media agency. I have been working in the same place as Multimedia Director for 4 years.
I discovered Anima Okul when a friend of mine started the course. As a result of my love for video games since I was little, I decided that I wanted to use my skills to make games. Although I can easily solve the technical part of the work with my coding history, I realized that I was incomplete when it came to the artistic part. I said "This is not the case, I have to get professional training." And then I found myself at Anima Okul.
I was registered in a 6-month Modeling and Render course. The training process was far above my expectation. In a short period of 6 months, I was able to lay the groundwork for entry into the CGI world. Both of our teachers (Beril Öztürk and Demircan Taş) were very successful and competent in their fields. Their enthusiasm for teaching and their love for their work made the lessons even more fun. Besides the lectures, the assignments, their implementation and feedback from the teachers on these were also very useful for me.
Now I am internship at Anima Istanbul as Junior Technical Director and my second month is almost over. I haven't been able to set my goals yet, but I'm sure I want the 3D world and the world of the game to be within my goals.
