Hello, this is Mert Kemerci. I was born in 1989 in Edirne. I graduated from Istanbul University Mining Engineering Department. You might say that mining engineering is a very unrelated department, but I guess I had to go underground to realize things. I always liked painting. From my early years when I started my school life, painting lessons and painting had been interesting for me. I was lucky when I started high school because we had a really good art teacher. I started to learn the technical and some principles, even at the beginning level. However, I did not do anything to realize the discourse that I should try the fine art coming from my environment with the lack of any concern about the future. Because my family didn't lean towards. Then I didn't have an antithesis I could put up against and I found myself in the mining engineering department. Everything was going normal until I went to my first internship. When I went to the construction site for my first internship, I was surrounded by fear. At that moment I realized that mining engineering was not the right job for me. But; I still didn't know what to do, all I knew was that I didn't want to do mining engineering. As soon as I finished college, I went to the military. After returning from the military, I went to America to study foreign languages. I returned to Turkey after living in America for two years and worked in mining engineeing industry for a while. I had to leave work for some reason. Then I started to work as an overseas construction site engineer. But I was still not happy. I was starting to look at other things that when a high school student, a relative who motivated me seriously to study fine arts and offered me Anima Okul. That day, my path crossed with Anima Okul. I was thinking of character design in the first place. But until high school, as someone who only made drawings of his own and then didn't pick up the pencil again, I decided to go to animation, thinking that I had to draw too much to compete with people who have been drawing and having professional training for a long time. Because video games, animations and animated films already covered a large area of my life. A warm atmosphere greeted me in Anima Okul. The lessons were fun, but also challenging. 6 months passed very quickly. I currently do an internship at Anima Okul and I hope; In the future I would say that I had lots of animations and games that I create. I would like to thank Anima Okul who opened this way for me and Sezgin Öztürk, who has been our instructor for 6 months and endured us.
